- Hand turned from a single piece of solid beech wood
- Dimensions: 12" diameter x 2.75" height. Serves 2-4 people
- All natural finish; no glues or other materials are used in production
- Eco-friendly sourcing: majority of trees used in the bowl making process are reclaimed from trees that have fallen during storms throughout Michigan
- Zero-waste practices: not one part of the tree ends up in a landfill; any excess wood is used for firewood and shavings are donated to local horse farms
- Each handmade bowl is unique due to the natural character of the tree it is cut from; no two bowls are exactly alike. Variations in knots, color, and shape including slight oval shaping from the natural drying process are inherent to solid wood craftsmanship and meant to be embraced.
- Wood is sourced from Michigan, Ohio and Indiana
- Made in the USA
- Hand wash with soap and warm water, rinse and dry immediately. Do not allow your wooden bowl to soak in water. Never put wooden bowls in the dishwasher.
- Use Bee’s Oil or food-safe mineral oil only to restore your bowl's natural luster and protect against drying, splitting and cracking.
- To oil your bowl, rub Bee’s Oil or mineral oil inside and out with a soft cloth, once a month or if wood looks and feels dry. Never use vegetable oils as they can turn rancid.
